Privacy Statement

I care about your privacy and I want to be sure that you understand how any information you provide here is–and is not–being used.

Information from you is collected when you fill out a form or enter information on this site, including when you leave a comment or subscribe to my newsletter. That information may be used to follow up with you about comments and/or email inquiries and/or to send you periodic emails regarding events, products and services. In the case of my newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Your information (known as Personally Identifiable Information) is never sold, traded or otherwise transferred to outside properties. However, trusted third-party associates–i.e. my website hosting partner and my mailing list host do have access to some of your information in the course of providing their services. You can see their own privacy statements here: GoDaddy Privacy Statment; Mailerlite Privacy Statement.

Information that is NOT Personally Identifiable Information may be shared with other parties for marketing purposes. Basically, this means that I can tell someone about traffic on this site in general terms but I can’t tell them anyone’s name, address, or other personal information.

‘Cookies’ are used here to compile data about site traffic. Trusted third-party systems, i.e. Facebook and Amazon, help track that information from time-to-time on my behalf. Turning cookies off won’t affect your user experience with this site.

I think that covers it but honestly, this is all very complicated and more than a little confusing. If you have any questions–or suggestions for improving this page–please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]. Thanks!
